§ 98-50. Obstruction of view by snow prohibited.

  • No person shall cause, allow or permit snow to accumulate or be placed on any property, including parking lots, adjacent to publicly or privately used streets or highways in the city in a manner which causes the obstruction of view to motor vehicles using the adjacent streets of other motor vehicles or pedestrians on the street, or which causes the obstruction of view by or of automobiles or pedestrians exiting from such parking lots or private property; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to the city in any of its operations in removing snow from the city streets and highways for the safety of persons using the streets. Snow shall be deemed to be obstructing the view within the meaning of this section if it is more than three feet high at any point within 12 feet of the paved portion of the street.
