§ 82-1. County license required.

  • Except as otherwise provided, no person shall be permitted to work in the city as a private watchman, private detective, or security guard at any time unless he is then licensed by the county to perform such work, or unless he is employed as a fulltime law enforcement officer in the city or the county, and no private watchman, private detective or security guard, except such law enforcement officer, shall be permitted to carry firearms of any kind in the city unless he is authorized to do so by the county police department.
