All businesses located within 250 feet of any property which is zoned for residential
use shall be closed for any transaction or dealings with customers between the hours
of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.; provided, however, that this section shall not apply
to businesses existing and operating during such hours before the enactment of the
ordinance from which this section is derived, or its predecessor, unless and until
there is a change as to the kind of business conducted. At the time of such a change
this section then becomes applicable.
