§ 46-19. Purpose.

Pursuant to the statutes of the state authorizing the city to legislate on matters pertaining to public health, this article is enacted for the purpose of prohibiting, abating, suppressing and preventing or licensing and regulating all acts, practices, conduct, businesses, occupations, callings, trades, uses of property and all other things detrimental or liable to be detrimental to the health of the inhabitants of the city.
